Plan of Salvation Outline: God Has declared in His word what it takes to receive salvation. It is a gift from God by Jesus Christ through his birth, life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension back to heaven.
Every person is separated from God because of sin.
God sought to form a close relationship with mankind.
God reached out to Mankind in a personal way by sending Jesus Christ.
God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ is available to every person.
New life in Jesus Christ calls a person to live in a Christ-like way.
“God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them! No one who has faith in God’s Son will be condemned. But everyone who doesn’t have faith in him has already been condemned for not having faith in God’s only Son.” St. John 3:16-18
“I am proud of the good news! It is God’s powerful way of saving all people who have faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. The good news tells how God accepts everyone who has faith, but only those who have faith. It is just as the Scriptures say, “The people God accepts because of their faith will live.” Romans 1:16-17
